Executive Vice President of Operations in FinanceCircularity2Andy has more than 25 years of experience as a business executive and entrepreneur. He has founded two companies, led the development and growth of three online retail businesses, and has held several high-level leadership positions at major corporations including Northwest Airlines and GE Capital.
Andy has developed expertise in business management, strategy, finance, large program execution, analytics, and operational excellence and has received multiple patents in the U.S., Canada, and Europe (EU). His experience includes managing multi-million-dollar businesses, projects, and programs, including leading the North American and European cargo business for Northwest and KLM Airlines; building the revenue management program for Carlson Hotel Companies; leading a joint venture program development for GE and IBM; developing and implementing a multi-billion dollar funding structure for GE Capital; and building and leading a new, international e-commerce business unit. In addition, he has been a successful serial entrepreneur – building and leading his own independent enterprises. Andy has an MBA with emphasis on Entrepreneurialism and Strategy from the University of Minnesota's Carlson School of Management and a Master Black Belt in Lean Six Sigma from GE. He has served as an adjunct professor of pricing strategy. Andy has two teenage daughters and has been actively involved in their academic and atheletic endeavors participating as a coach, classroom mentor, scorekeeper, driver, and enthusiatic spectator and parent with the hope that he has played a small, but important role, in them becoming strong, independent women. |
