St. Louis Co. Sheriff's OfficeInformation Specialist SupervisorMy name is Angie Lessard, and I currently work as an Information Specialist Supervisor for the St. Louis Co. Sheriff's Office. I live in Hermantown, MN with my husband of almost 30yrs. and our 2 children, 24yr. old daughter and 17yr. old son. I can't forget to mention our furry family members, a 10yr. old English Springer and my 4yr. old grand pup. I have worked for St. Louis Co. for 22yrs., with 16 of those years being a part of the Sheriff's Office. I have a BA in Social Work but found my niche on the civilian side of law enforcement. I am very fortunate to supervise a group of 6 intelligent, strong, witty, women, as well as back-up to our Hibbing and Virginia staff. They too, share my passion for a being a part of something bigger and providing 'behind the scenes' support to our front-line law enforcement. I would love to see more women in law enforcement in leadership positions, as this is a very male-driven work environment. My goal is to learn from my fellow advisory board members, program faculty, and students and incorporate new approaches into my own supervisory style.
