Founder, Chief Research ScientistStudentBethany Ranes, Ph.D. is the founder and Chief Research Scientist of Interocept Labs, a consulting firm that translates cutting-edge neuroscience into real-world solutions for cognitive health, resilience, and organizational well-being. With nearly two decades of experience as a translational neuroscientist, Dr. Ranes blends rigorous research with creative strategy to help organizations and communities harness brain-based insights to improve performance and quality of life.
Her previous research and leadership roles include work with UnitedHealth Group, Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation, and the U.S. Army Aeromedical Research Lab, where she led studies on cognition, chronic pain, mental health, and neurobehavioral recovery. Through her work and outreach, Dr. Ranes is committed to making neuroscience accessible and actionable, helping individuals and organizations turn scientific discovery into meaningful impact. As a member of this advisory board, she brings a deep understanding of human behavior, wellness, and evidence-based transformation, aligned with the program’s mission to foster inclusive and powerful leadership, especially in professional STEM environments. She is a first generation college graduate with a passion for helping women thrive in male-dominated industries. |
