​Eric was raised on a small farm in southwest Minnesota where his parents owned and operated a community hardware store.  As a member of his family-owned business, the importance of providing exceptional customer service was instilled in him at an early age.    

Eric believes that providing exceptional customer service is one of the most important elements to success, regardless of your field of expertise.  Eric is passionate about teaching others how to communicate effectively and is driven to inspire and help others, with both their personal and professional goals.  

Beginning his IT career, serving as a helpdesk representative for a small startup company,  Eric quickly honed his technical skills and advanced to a Sr. Systems Administrator.  With 15+ years of experience in Systems/Network Administration, Eric is the Chief Information Officer within the financial services industry.  
 
Eric holds an A.A.S in Network Administration and was an Adjunct Professor where he taught various computer science classes.   He has earned numerous certifications from Cisco, Microsoft, and ITILv4.
 
In his down time, you will find Eric fishing, serving as a volunteer firefighter, and enjoying time with his children at their various activities.
