Senior Adolescent Health PlannerRamsey CountyDr. Jenny Oliphant is a dedicated public health leader, educator, and mentor with deep expertise in behavioral epidemiology, health equity, and youth health initiatives. She brings over a decade of experience in community health, grant writing and review, and public health education. Dr. Oliphant is passionate about supporting emerging leaders and has taught university-level courses in epidemiology, health communication, global health, and community-based research.
Her research centers on human papillomavirus (HPV), oral health, and advancing equity in preventive care. She recently presented her findings at international conferences, including the International Papillomavirus Conference (IPVC) in Scotland, and is a published author in the *Journal of Cancer Research*. Dr. Oliphant is currently leading a Merck-funded study exploring innovative strategies to promote HPV vaccination through trusted messengers in clinical settings. As a mentor, Dr. Oliphant is known for her collaborative spirit, equity-driven approach, and commitment to empowering the next generation of public health professionals. She currently works for a large urban public health department as a subject matter expert. |
