Laure has built her career mostly through firsthand learning. She holds two degrees- an Associate of Arts and a Dental Assistant Degree. However, her professional career started at the age of fifteen at McDonald’s. Over the course of 11 years, she gained invaluable professional and leadership experience through various positions.

Seeking further development and career growth, Laura transitioned to Blue Cross Blue Shield MN. Despite a limited knowledge of the insurance and health industry, she developed a passion for helping members live their healthiest lives. Over the past 8.5 years, she advanced from a Customer Service Representative to a Team Lead and then Supervisor. She has now taken on a new challenge and now serves as a Business Analyst.

Laura believes that every opportunity can foster personal development and enable individuals to become the best version of themselves. Leadership, formal or informal, is an opportunity to provide these development opportunities for others. Laura’s goal as a leader is to inspire and empower through transparent communication and feedback, while building trusting relationships.
