Sergeant

City of New Brighton

Hello my name is Taylor, I have been working as a police officer since 2017. Before being a license peace officer, I was an intern at New Brighton Department of Public Safety. After being an intern, I became a CSO with Roseville. As a Patrol Officer I have had many different roles. I am a Crisis Negotiator with our SWAT team, I am a K9 handler with our department therapy dog, was explorer advisor, peer support team member, patrol advisory board, initial group of DEI members for the city, leadership team and field training officer. Most currently I was promoted to Sergeant and have been learning this role since.

I also work on with our Fire Department at New Brighton.

During my time at New Brighton, I have assisted in mentoring young student athletes at the University of Minnesota.
